For 130 years, we have been securing the mobility of the people in our beautiful county with our differentiated offer. With a route network of around 1,280 km in length and over 80 of our own buses in daily use, we are the largest provider in public local passenger transport in the County of Bentheim district.

Our goal is and remains clear: To offer the people of the region fast, safe, and comfortable local public transport that remains affordable, protects the environment, and makes the decision for buses and trains easier for them.

We plan and control this process from our central depot in Nordhorn. With over 7,000 square meters, the building complex is an essential factor in realizing our idea of future-oriented mobility solutions and a clear strengthening of the business location Bentheim.

The tariff association – simple and understandable

Since 1996 – together with the bus companies Nordhorner Versorgungsbetriebe GmbH and Richters Reisen GmbH – we have been shareholders of the Verkehrsgemeinschaft Grafschaft Bentheim (VGB). As such, we have contributed significantly to simplifying fares – for us and our customers alike. Today, continuous tariffs apply to all VGB lines, which can be easily determined based on zones.

For many years, we have been an important partner to the local economy. Together with our subsidiary, the forwarding agency Kraftverkehr Emsland GmbH, we provide our customers with a competent, comprehensive, and reliable basis for efficient distribution policies. Together with the freight forwarders represented at the location, we create secure and reliable transport chains between rail and road and help to optimally utilize logistical potentials.

With 130 years of experience in the transport sector, we offer customers numerous advantages for their transports:

  • Combined transport and conventional transport linking rail and road (in cooperation with DB Cargo or Cargo Rail)
  • Own railway fleet and large selection of wagons for various products
  • Offering door-to-door transport involving our freight forwarding subsidiary
  • Tailored and therefore economical transport solutions for individual distribution requirements
  • Connection to the international freight transport center (GVZ) in Coevorden/NL
